Sunday ride report – 21st July
The gamble on the weather came good and the day turned out to be cold and overcast, but no rain. When I arrived at the start there was one member waiting and a few minutes later 2 more arrived, that was it.
We headed towards Healesville via Coldstream and a few back roads, unfortunately one road was under reconstruction and the gleaming bike got dirty, sorry guys, then into Healesville where we had a quick coffee. Then on towards the big bakery and then turning left to Toolangi and then onto the Melba Highway where we headed north for a few kilometres and then left to take the back way to Kinglake. No Mr. K Roo this time.
We were met by John & Vicky Best and enjoyed lunch at the cafe. After lunch we headed down the hill to St. Andrew’s and Eltham where we all headed our separate ways.
