The sun was high in the sky on a beautiful Melbourne summers day when 21 members and 3 pillions gathered for the Something Different ride.
We arrived at the lunch stop at the Notting Hill Hotel in good time with the tail end rider John Killingsworth doing a superb job and the corner marshalling done in faultless manner, with fuel consumption would put a smile on anyone face.
What followed was a lovely meal, lots of good conversation, plenty of smiles and a sprinkle of laughter
The beer garden is a great venue for friends to gather enjoying each others company, under the shade of umbrellas.
It was great to see Reg Hammond and Ed Sleightholm who has been absent for a long time.
Thanks to the good people who made this happen. After lunch everyone made their own way home.
